Oppia Financial Literacy Team

Oppia is a nonprofit that gives learners free online lessons, with a focus on communities that have limited access to education. Omelora is partnering with Oppia to place volunteers on its Financial Literacy Team. You will help plan and build lessons that teach young learners how to understand money.

Instructions

Sign up through Omelora using the email linked to your volunteer account.
Omelora will send your registration to Oppia.
Watch for a message from Oppia and complete the onboarding steps they provide.
Draft financial literacy curriculum for young learners.
Write lessons that use clear examples from daily life.
Create questions that become harder as the lesson continues.
Build lessons on Oppia and improve them after learner feedback.
