Oppia Math Lessons Team

Oppia is a nonprofit that gives learners free online lessons, with a focus on communities that have limited access to education. Omelora is partnering with Oppia to place volunteers on its Math Lessons Team. You will help plan and build interactive lessons on basic math topics. Oppia will train you as you get started.

Instructions

Sign up through Omelora using the email linked to your volunteer account.
Omelora will send your registration to Oppia.
Watch for a message from Oppia and complete the onboarding steps they provide.
Plan a clear way to teach the math topic Oppia assigns.
Write questions that become harder as the lesson continues.
Build the lesson on the Oppia platform.
Improve the lesson after learners share feedback.
