Oppia Science Lessons Team

Oppia is a nonprofit that gives learners free online lessons, with a focus on communities that have limited access to education. Omelora is partnering with Oppia to place volunteers on its Science Lessons Team. You will help write science curricula and build interactive lessons for young learners.

Instructions

Sign up through Omelora using the email linked to your volunteer account.
Omelora will send your registration to Oppia.
Watch for a message from Oppia and complete the onboarding steps they provide.
Draft science curriculum for young learners.
Write lessons that explain science through real-life examples.
Create questions that become harder as the lesson continues.
Build lessons on Oppia and improve them after learner feedback.
